Recently an amazing supporter named Bunny Perno-Horne began a mass letter-writing campaign, reaching out to our federal MPs, asking them if they will support a ban on live horse export for slaughter in the fall session of Parliament. We are including photos of her work and a copy of the message she sent.

Dear Honorable Member of Parliament:
I, Bunny Perno-Horne, am a constituent of Port Coquitlam, BC. I am writing to ask if YOU WILL SUPPORT a BAN on LIVE HORSE EXPORT for SLAUGHTER in the fall session of Parliament. It is my hope that such a BAN could be included in the fall BUDGET BRIEF. As you may be aware, Bill C-355 passed the House last Parliament, moved to the Senate where it sat due to parliamentary hiatus awaiting a new election.
