An amazing, talented artist has donated her exquisite work to the protection of horses, by hosting an art auction for CHDC and horseshit.ca.
We are pleased to announce a fabulous donation to the “Horseshit Campaign” created by renowned singer/songwriter and CHDC patron Jann Arden, aimed at bringing attention to the urgent need to ban live horse exports for slaughter.
As part of this effort, Sidney, B.C. based artist Marion Evamy recently hosted an equine themed online art auction and raised over $8000 to support this mission.
The former Calgary resident donates a portion of the proceeds from every sale to charity and was recently featured in the Calgary Herald.
We salute Marion and her compassion and generosity! Sincere thanks to all who participated!
