We call upon the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, Marie-Claude Bibeau to ban the importation of Equine Chorionic Gonadotropin (ECG) – also known as Pregnant Mare’s Serum Gonadotropin (PMSG). ECG is injected into farmed animals including pigs to speed up their fertility cycle so that they have children more frequently and boost the profits of intensive animal agriculture facilities.
